About Us
"The Homes" Room and Board
The Homes Room and board was established in 2000 when our family recognized there was a need for shared housing among our own family. We created a shared living environment for family members that were most vulnerable and income restricted.
In 2016 we branched out to Sacramento’s homeless population and now serve Sacramento’s most vulnerable, including seniors and disabled individuals. PLEASE NOTE: All our homes are completely independent living and no care is provided.

Furnished Rooms
All rooms come fully furnished with essential items, including beds and TVs, so residents can move in easily and feel at home.
Meals Provided
Residents receive one prepared dinner and access to self-serve meals during weekdays to support daily living.
Convenient Locations
All homes are located near public transportation, grocery stores, pharmacies, and major hospitals for easy access to essentials.
